Harbic Brassware Straight RamFlex Connector Hoses have high UV Resistance.
Polymer braided connectors exceed the mechanical performance test requirements of EN 13618.
Burst Pressure: (315 bar / 60 Min)
Water Hammer: (200 cycles 5/50 bar)
Alternate pressure thermal cycle test: (20°C – 90°C) (10 bar)
UV resistance test: Exposed to 3.5Gj (1620 hours in UV artificial test rig). After UV aging, hose assemblies shal resist water hasmmer test, same as if the product was new.

Antibacterial Properties: The absence of oil and plasticizers in the extrusion process of Thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPE) eliminates the migration of nonmetallic substances into water.
This makes it as pure as silicone and assures full compliance with the new European Water Directive (DW 98/83/EC) while retaining the properties and flexibility of thermoplastics.

In order to comply with the guidelines set out by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) each state in Australia chlorinates their water with a mixture of either chlorine gas, powder, or tablets; or more recently Chloramine.
The effect this has on the rubber or elastomers used in flexible connectors is the significant deterioration of their physical properties such as dense surface cracking and severe and rapid loss of elasticity and tensile strength resulting in their degradation and failure. This damage is accelerated as the temperature increases.
The RAMFLEX TPE liner is the best option when it comes to Chlorine and Chloramine resistance as it will not generate surface flaking, dimpling, or shredding thus providing a solution which will stand the test of time.

RAMFLEX connectors feature a TPE liner and polymer braid.
