Rangehoods

There are vented and recirculating options available. Vented rangehoods are ducted, and draw cooking odours and smoke through aluminium filters and direct the air outside. The aluminium filters require cleaning on a regular basis (most can be cleaned in the dishwasher – See manufacturer instructions for cleaning guide). Recirculating rangehoods are effective when ducting is not possible, using carbon filters to clean the air and recirculate it back into the room. Carbon filters need to be replaced. Replacement interval will depend on the amount and type of cooking that you do. Many rangehoods offer both venting or recirculating options.
