Product Description

Australian Made Solid Timber Vanity Top

The Australian Made Solid Timber Vanity Top range is made in Adelaide, South Australia using sustainably grown Tasmanian or South Australian timber.
These tops are solid timber with a clear premium waterproofing compound, then 2 x coats of 2Pac Polyurethane clear with a hardener. The tops are water resistant for day to day spills.
Both sides are finished, leaving you to choose which colour profile to display in your bathroom.
Edges are routered for a nicely curved edge.
The timber is slow aged (3-4 years), which draws the moisture out slowly, giving our tops less vulnerabilty to splitting and warping. Then the timber drying process is finished in a kiln.
As the Timber Top is natural timber, each top is unique and has its own character and colour profiles. No two tops are the same.
460mm deep.
Thickness varies between approx. 26mm – 32mm. This is shaved at manufacturing process to get the best colour profile.
Images are of the stock that is left, with both sides being shown.
Natural timbers are unique, each top will differ in colour and texture. Features and variations in colour and texture of the wood are not considered defects. Timber is a natural product and colour variation must be expected.

INSTALLATION: Neutral Cure Silicon Only should be used. DO NOT USE ACETIC SILICON.
**It is essential that the installation, sealing and Care & Warranty instructions are adhered to, and that the product is not used in areas of extreme climatic conditions.
Areas where the timber is cut or sawn MUST be re-sealed to prevent moisture affecting the timber
CLEANING: Normal maintenance consists of wiping down with a damp cloth. Warm soapy water on a cloth is suitable to remove greasy residue. Make sure
to rinse and dry properly. Timber tops will readily take the punishment associated with normal day-to-day usage within the household
environment. Products that should also be avoided are those containing silicon compounds (such as *Mr Sheen); silicon can embed itself in the
chemical structure of the polyurethane coating making subsequent recoating difficult. Do NOT allow water to pool on the timber top. Clean
water off after use.
REPAIRING DAMAGED TIMBER TOP: Timber tops can be repaired and returned to their natural lustre. Sanding will remove most stains. Finish with a light sand (particularly if the
wood fibres have been broken or damaged). The area can be re-sealed with a quality 2pac clear coat.
